Hi all - I will be doing a music licensing hangout on Monday, August 17th
at 2pm EDT (11am West Coast time). All you need is a gmail account and this

I'll be discussing music licensing, rates for Soundexchange, ASCAP, BMI &
Sesac, Soundexchange reporting, podcasting and archiving, alternative legal
copyright strategies, and general music copyright issues as they pertain to
community broadcasters and/or webcasters. I've recently come up to speed
again on all this stuff, but these issues changes so fast that I figured I
had better strike while the iron is hot. At least most of the agreements
are now in place until the end of 2020.

You will be able to make comments and ask questions via IM on the google
hangout page. I will do my best to archive it, although I think only 15
minutes of it can be archived and the hangout will last one hour.
