(Sage vs DASDEC)

Having used both, I believe the DASDEC is a much better unit.  
It's easier to set up, comes with radios, etc.

I think the bottom line cost is about the same.  Sage looks less 
expensive initially, but after adding the radios it isn't.  I 
would still choose DASDEC even if the bottom line cost is 
higher.

DASDEC uses a web interface that works on any browser.  Sage 
uses a download and upload and a special MS-windows program to 
set it up.  Sage web interface to check things, view logs, etc 
(as of 2 years ago) did not work correctly on Firefox.

The tech parts of the radio station fall into 3 catgories:  RF, 
audio, and computer.  It is rare to find a single individual 
that can do all three well.  But 3 people .. yes .. and the RF 
part is the smallest in terms of time, and once it is going, the 
audio and computer people should be able to watch it and know 
when to call for help.
