[grc] Help me choose a recorder?

We use the Zoom H-6. Balanced inputs, can handle up to 6 mics. Durable. It comes with many built in mic options, but you can also plug in any mic. Very good sound quality. Not something I'd check out to student interns and novice reporters however, not because it's hard to use (it isn't). Not in the price range where I'd do that. Between $500-700 (with all the mics and options, plus a really durable case). Uses a removable SD card. Considering all the quality we are getting, it's a very good deal.
We have used it to record interviews with a host and up to 3 musicians with separate tracks for voice and instrument.
