[grc] NW Community Media Summit This Weekend (March 27/28)

Oops, I didn't realize I was posting this in Musa's thread. I don't mean to
suggest that the GRC be at one of the NFCB regional summits this year.

Here's the email again so a new thread can be started :)

Hi GRC-ers!

I want  to check in about the NW Community Media Summit on March 27/28 in
Tukwila, WA.

Saturday, March 28th we'll be focusing on community media collaborations
and we have scholarships that can get the fee down to $25 that day.

Also, the NFCB summit in St. Louis at KDHX last weekend was really good and
more GRC-y than the national conference. Lots of folks who are passionate
about community and media. I highly recommend checking them out. Sally
Kane, with NFCB, said that LPFMs and other forms of community media are
welcome at any of the summits. I hear Nan Rubin, Prometheus board member
who lives in NM now is working on getting LPFMs to the one in Albuquerque.
