[grc] Second Chance? -- Full Power FM Auction #98 in July

For all throes unsuccessful and wanted to be FM station applicants
there is a possible second chance with commercial auction #98.
My understanding is any independent individual can submit the minimum
bid and if successful could later
 convert the station to a non-profit community station that then would
be exempted from FCC fees. You can not bid as a nonprofit.

Attached is the list of 131 commercial construction permits up for
auction in July. Some minimum bids in rural areas as low as $750. Some
rural construction permits have not been bid on in past auctions. Some
bigger cities available also.

I am told that, if you should want to attempt the above somewhat
complicated process you will need a FCC lawyer and engineer to thread
you though the process.
