If I recall correctly, KDFC and the classical public radio network
along with public radio capitol (PRC) were involved in sucking up
several other college stations.
So what is known about this trend and those that benefit and ware does
the money come from?

How sad and angry making! I knew that station -
KUSP is $700,000 in debt which includes NPR!
Whatever part is owed to NPR - it has always upset me that NPR pays
exorbitant salaries, collects affiliation fees and then sells the
listeners of its affiliates to their ever more disgusting
advertisers,
including the fracking industry and used car sales men.
Think about it! - as they say in the frack-biz ..
