[grc] mac question

A friend has lent me a Mac (OS 10.6) and I'd like to try it for editing,
but the mouse seems to be very different to position accurately.  I looked
online and saw that other people have been having issues with Mac in terms
of mouse use.  I am wondering if there are any Mac users out there who do
editing on them, and how you deal with mouse issues.
