You may have already read the attached UNESCO document from their recent
community media summit.  I just now saw it in a previously unopened email.
The reason I'm calling it to your attention now is that I see there is a
recommendation for community radio stations to share content with each
other, calling it natural for our sector.  This could be useful in for
example seeking funding for regional projects or FSRN.

​From  14-15  September  2015,  UNESCO  hosted  a  major  international
 conference  on community media at its headquarters in Paris. The
conference brought together a wide range   of   community   radio
stakeholders,   representing   governments,   regulators, practitioners,
 civil  society,  academics  and  other  experts,  from  all  regions  of
 the  world.



An  important  aim  of  the  discussions  was  to  arrive  at  some
 consensus  over  a  set  of recommendations to support the ongoing
development of the community media sector globally, with a particular focus
on sustainability.

​I am sending herewith the Note on the Adopted Recommendations for your
kind perusal.
