NEW WORKSHOPS: ORAL HISTORY SUMMER SCHOOL 2016: For Radio Producers, Social
Workers, Museum Professionals, Artists, Educators and More

For the first time, Oral History Summer School will offer our summer
intensive workshop in Chicago (June 5-12) in collaboration with the Studs
Terkel Radio Archive and the Chicago Torture Justice Memorials Project.​

​We will be offering our annual Hudson workshop, as well--as an extended
12-day program ​in upstate New York (June 24-July 5) ​that includes a
two-day focus on the legal/ethical issues associated with youth narrators
and youth advocacy (in collaboration with Social Justice Leadership
Academy​ and several guest instructors​).

We ​aim​ to fill our programs with participants whose work will ​most
​benefit from the theories, values and tools of oral history. We hope to
connect with artists, educators, activists, advocates, writers, radio
producers ​and ​community leaders​ for our June workshop​s. We would be
