*WJFF Radio Catskill* is accepting applications for the position of 
*General Manager / Development Director*. The General Manager / 
Development Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the 
station including fundraising and membership development. He or she 
reports to the Board of Trustees and manages all other staff and 
contract positions. The General Manager/Development Director is the 
point of contact for, and the station’s representative to, our 
communities. He or she will be guided by the station’s Mission Statement 
and implements the station's Mission Statement and other policies.

It is preferred that the General Manager / Development Director have a 
demonstrated background in community/public radio programming, 
government (FCC and CPB) compliance, technical operations (especially 
with computer systems), fund raising, writing grants, and managing 
staff.  A degree or significant experience in broadcasting, community 
organization or a related field is desired. As WJFF is a community radio 
station, the demonstrated ability to lead while working collegially and 
transparently with a wide range of diverse constituencies, including 
volunteer broadcasters is essential.

WJFF Radio Catskill, located in Jeffersonville, NY, is a National Public 
Radio member station serving the Catskills, Upper Delaware Valley and 
Mid-Hudson region of New York, as well as Northeast Pennsylvania.
