So my friend Daniell has a captioning software outfit that specializes in
working with community television centers. I pinged him on FB about this
conversation and he writes:

"There are people hacking WebCaptioner.com with a “virtual audio cable” for
windows that lets them route their audio into chrome and get free
transcription/captioning. I’ll Look in their Facebook group for examples
and try to share in case it’s helpful. Latest use case I saw was twitch
live streamers adding free real time Captioning [image: 😉] always let the
gamers find free solutions to exploit [image: 😉]"

"This is about tying it into streaming but somewhat similar to radio needs"
