*KBOO to host the Grassroots Radio Conference in 2018*
*Please join us in Portland, Oregon for radio community building!*

KBOO is proud to announce that we will be hosting the Grassroots Radio
Conference in 2018, October 5th-7th in Portland, Oregon. We last hosted the
GRC ten years ago and we’re looking forward to welcoming all of you to
Portland again. 2018 will also be KBOO's 50th anniversary. The year-long
celebration will culminate with the GRC.

As one of the first community radio stations in the US, we're excited to
welcome grassroots radio to Portland! We hope to use this opportunity to
reciprocate, contribute, and connect with community radio stations and
radio makers of all kinds.

KBOO believes in the vitality of our community. We're honored to have the
opportunity to facilitate connections at the GRC between those of you who
are at full power stations, those of you who are the new wave of LPFMs, and
others still who work in broadcast and podcasting. All are welcome at GRC
2018.

*Expect further information in February*. PLEASE let us know what you would
like to see at GRC 2018: Tracks, featured speakers, workshop subjects,
housing arrangements, food, field trips, etc. Keep an ear out for a call
for presentations!
