Agreed. I thought it would be after the Webinar. Had hoped that's where my questions would have been answered. Started this morning at 4 am and it was complicated. Still, haven't answered all the questions. Going into the studio hope I can finish filling in the blanks.

Forwarding the attached for our GRC LP colleagues. You may have received it, but there can never be too many reminders.
Only question is why the alert went out so late (literally - at the 11th hour of today's paperwork deadline!)

Dear Sir/Madam,
You are receiving this message because your email is associated with a low power broadcast station in a Federal Communications Commission database. Please forward it as appropriate.
There will be a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at 2:20 p.m., with a backup test date of Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Low power television, radio, and class D broadcasters are EAS Participants, and all EAS Participants are required both to participate in nationwide tests and register and file ETRS Form One by July 3, 2019. In the attached and at the link below, you will find more information about the test and instructions on how to file in ETRS. Please contact ETRS at fcc.gov<mailto:ETRS at fcc.gov> with filing questions.

In addition, please join us for the low power broadcaster webinar, scheduled for July 11, 2019, for a discussion of low power broadcaster participation in EAS and the ETRS. More information is available on the event webpage: https://www.fcc.gov/document/july-11-webinar-low-power-broadcasters-nationwide-eas-test.
If you have questions or concerns, please reply to this email, or send a separate email to alerting at fcc.gov<mailto:ETRS at fcc.gov>. In both cases, please verify that your reply is addressed only to alerting at fcc.gov<mailto:ETRS at fcc.gov>.
Best,
The Alerting Team
