[grc] Audio levels on imported files

Hi!
We use Megaseg and are having a major problem with audio levels on
downloaded files for programs that we don't produce locally (Democracy
Now!, Alternative Radio, etc.). For example, this morning Democracy
Now! was whisper quiet. We left the studio board alone as we wanted to
see/hear what was happening with our own local audio for comparison.
Democracy Now! ended and the following KYRS produced announcements were
all normal volume levels, as they should be. When Alternative Radio
came on, the volume plunged again to a whisper. We boosted the audio
level on the board all the way to the top and it was just about to a
normal level then.
These files that we import are all produced independently, so the
production should not be an issue. Imported audio files from different
sources are all experiencing the same identical problem. And it does
not seem to matter how the import is accomplished. Some of them are
being imported automatically (like Alternative Radio) and some of them
are being imported manually (like Democracy Now!). Yet the same problem
presents itself in both cases. It is not the most recent Megaseg update
as we have been noticing this prior to that. Our board is likely not
the culprit as the audio level on our own produced files is normal and
as expected. We also can't say that this is happening to all
pre-recorded audio, as all of the audio that we have on Megaseg is
pre-recorded. Again, all of the audio that we produce and add locally
has no issues. This only effects our imported shows.
So what is happening with these specific types of audio files?
Anyone have similar issues or ideas for a solution?
