Would any of you who were involved in running radio stations before rules were loosened in the 1980s and 1990s remember how long station licenses were good for before having to be renewed. I have a dim memory of learning at a conference about it being something like every 3 or 4 years. Now it’s every 8. I’m writing an article and hate to leave it vague.
