That's not true.
Those services are marketing services, and will be treated as such.
They are known marketing services, believed to be legitimate, and they
work with Google et al.
I am not saying not to use them. They really do make sense when used
for their intended purpose. In the context of a radio station, they
make sense for the big list of listeners, small donors, friends,
neighbors, whatever. They are not a good choice for a working email
list for staff or volunteers, where you want to get work done.

Actually, it triggers the "Mail Chimp" filter, which is a category of
its own. It gets delivered, usually, along with all the other Constant
Contact and Mail Chimp mail. It's not the "spam" folder. It's the
"promotions" folder, or something like that.
If that's what you want, go for it.
