[grc] LPFM 250 POWER INCREASE OPPORTUNITY - COMMENTS NEEDED

Dear Friends . . . .

PUMP UP THE VOLUME!!!! . . .  the FCC is considering a proposal that 
would increase wattage for many LPFM radio stations from 100 to 250 
watts!  This is a VERY EXCITING and UNEXPECTED OPPORTUNITY that would 
help our nation's LP stations exponentially!

It is important for EVERYONE who cares about community broadcasting in 
the United states to file comments in support of Simple LPFM 250 as 
proposed in RM-11909.  This includes station staff, Board Members, DJs, 
Listeners, and Supporters.  PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS & FANS!  While 
there is not an exact deadline for these comments, the safest bet is to 
have them submitted to the FCC by MONDAY, JUNE 21st.

Michelle Bradley of REC Networks has advocated for this wattage increase 
for many years now and has an outline of the proposal as well 
step-by-step instructions for submitting your comments to the FCC.  A 
link to her helpful information and a summary of her suggestions is 
attached to this e-mail.  You can make your letter long and passionate, 
or keep it short and sweet.  So long as you let the commissioners know 
that you support the LPFM-250 proposal, every comment filed will help 
this very important cause!
