HAPPY LP250 DAY to the people!!

Thank you for this thoughtful correction and all you’re doing to help these powerful small stations 1.5x their reach, Michi! Beautiful work and we appreciate you the great care you’ve taken.

I hope that, as individuals, will each find it in our hearts to voice our support today.

On the heels of Juneteeth, there’s no better time to support vital information reaching local communities on their own independent channels.

I’m filing my comments as we speak. WIP draft below.

Hooray! Thank you Michi! Bring on LP-250!!! 🎉✊🏾

LPFM is going great so far. Thank you. It’s a bright spot on the non-commercial band. As the bulwark of college stations “grandpersoned” in by a network of free-thinking individuals are increasingly encroached upon by consolidation, NPR, and LLC-ownership—LPFM is increasingly important. By offering truly local emergency services. Non-robo human voices to connect with in times of pandemic … or other crises. Enriching our local Creative Commons. In short, it’s the last, great hope of freeform programming on the NCE band. And increasing the bandwidth for local people to serve the local public interest is perfectly aligned with the intent of its protection. Thank you for your consideration and forethought.
