So Monsantos lied about Roundup but we trust their new face for a warp
speed vaccine?

* Johnson & Johnson identified a lead vaccine candidate against the new
coronavirus and entered a partnership with the U.S. Department of Health &
Human Services' Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.
Both entities will invest over $1 billion for vaccine research, development
and clinical testing, with J&J aiming to start phase 1 human clinical
studies of the lead vaccine candidate by September at the latest.

* Bayer AG reached a $39.5 million settlement deal to resolve allegations
that its Monsanto Co. unit misled customers about the potential health
risks of top-selling herbicide Roundup, Bloomberg News reported
<https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-03-30/bayer-pays-39-5-million-to-settle-roundup-false-ad-lawsuits>.
The German healthcare conglomerate also agreed to remove from the product's
label that its main active ingredient glyphosate, which allegedly causes
cancer, only affects enzyme found in plants.
