[grc] Donations of stocks and bonds?

We have a potential donor who wants to transfer stocks and bonds to us,
though we don't yet know the fair market value.

It appears we generally need to set up a brokerage account to facilitate
this sort of transaction but then I also found this online:

I'd be surprised if this becomes a regular thing for us, but who knows?
And does anyone here have experience with this StockDonator option?  Online
it looks really good, but the devil is always in the details, right?
