We have MegaSeg for automation, but it's only really used when a live DJ isn't on. I've got the manual downloaded and it seems simple enough to program, but just thought I'd ask if anyone has tips or tricks for using it to the best of its ability. I'm in the process of trying to create some guides for how to best organize the music library and other files. Thanks in advance for any advice or tips! I'm just trying to set up to send metadata from megaseg to the stream, but don't have all the information. I'm learning how challenging it can be logistically when the station is tied to a university. Soundstack did give me instructions to connect via audio hijack, but no details on what link to use to send the metadata. I might have to involve the university IT department, which is challenging. we're not able to update basic software patches without them! Message-ID: Hello folks, I'm co-teaching a new "radio DJ" class inside 2 California State Prisons. The idea is to help each student put together an hour-long radio show, with a theme and songs of their choice...and they have 3 or 4 breaks during the hour to talk about the music, and tell personal stories about why they chose it, what those songs mean to them, etc. I'd like to bring them some samples of similar work. Do you have any music DJs at your station that are really good story tellers, and do so during their set breaks? Ideally telling personal stories related to the music, but stories about the music itself or musicians could be good too. Any musical genre is fine. Please send me links or ideas--thanks! Please see the below links for ETRS log-in and other filing instructions. https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DA-23-1A1.docx (January, 2023 Public Notice opening ETRS for filings) https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DA-22-1330A1.docx (December, 2022 Public Notice establishing Form One filing deadline) https://www.fcc.gov/general/eas-test-reporting-system (FCC's ETRS webpage, which includes ETRS log in links) This page has a lot of useful information about ETRS and each station?s role. Please email ETRS at fcc.gov with questions about this notice or the ETRS filing process. There was no EAS Test in 2022. But you still are required to file Form One. It is very simple this time. All you need to do is fill in the information about your station and equipment used during EAS tests. Be sure to file Form One on or before February 28. Before would be best just in case everyone else waits until February 28 and the FCC system crashes. ===================================================================== -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
