[grc] video editing?

Hello, All:


	  What do people on this list use to edit videos?


	  I routinely get MP4 and MOV files recording events.  I usually create 
a computer transcript with Otter.ai and use that to plan editing in 
Audacity.  However, I think I recall having heard of an alternative to 
Otter.ai that supports video editing, and I wonder if anyone knows about 
that.  I'm also interested in learning what software people like for 
editing videos.  I've tried Adobe Premier Pro and found it too hard to 
use.  A fried recommended OpenShot, but my first attempts to use it have 
so far not produced instant success.
