Radio Colleagues ~

The Grassroots Radio Conference, an annual gathering of college and 
community radio stations, takes place NEXT WEEKEND at WTSQ in 
Charelston, WV.  Amy Goodman of Democracy Now will deliver the keynote.  
Helpful presentations from likes of LPFM godfather Pete Tridish, 
Pacifica Affiliates Manager Urusla Ruedenburg, and Austin' Airwaves 
wrangler "Radio Jim" Ellinger!  Scholarships still available and  
everyone with an interest in Community Radio is welcome to attend!

I know you will enjoy meeting new radio friends in person and connecting 
with community radio advocates from across the country -- and around the 
world. It will be an excellent way for those syndicating their programs 
to connect with the stations that will play them.

If anyone else is considering joining us but haven't registered yet, I 
HIGHLY recommend it. I always get so much out of this conference and it 
is always a lot of fun.

There are still 1/2 price scholarships available thanks to Amy Goodman.  
This makes the conference extremely affordable especially since it 
includes free coffee all weekend, a catered brunch on Sunday, a schedule 
packed full of informative sessions, an LPFM for Dummies Release Party, 
and a showcase of bands.   It will be a memorable weekend and I very 
much hope you will be able to attend!
