[grc] (URGENT) Palestinian Stories Opportunity

Greetings GRC Radio Friends & Family,

Some of you may remember me from the summit back in 2014 in Ame, Iowa. I do
Hip Hop and Public Affairs on a show called The Re-Up on bilingual
community radio station KSVR 91.7 FM Mt Vernon. Plus a similar show called
The Massive Mix Session on KZAX 94.9 FM as well now.

Over the years I've also been blessed to have some amazing times with some
of you as a part of AMARC the World Federation of Community Broadcasters,
and been able to attend several of their global summits. An incredibly good
broadcast friend of mine named Fadi AbuSada who is based in Ramallah in the
West Bank is working on connecting me to two English language community
broadcast stations to provide the stories of everyday Palestinians aside
from the only ones we see when they are getting shot at by Israelis. I know
GRC has a massive reach around the country. Even tonight Fadi told me a
story of how hard it was today having to explain why they were being tear
gassed on their way home.

These guys are really just wanting the world to hear them and what's not
being told. So if I can help get the ball rolling, this could really end up
being quite a few stories to tell!

On a side note once hopefully the fighting stops I'm working on a project
where I may be visiting Gaza in the near future. To tell the stories of
actual everyday people and simply what life was like. Especially being
African American and also Native American, from a tribe that ironically was
shoved into our own coastal enclave.

Anywho, keep fighting the good fight everyone, bringing voices and real
creativity to the airwaves! Totally bummed I can't swing the cost to be
there in West Virginia, but looking forward to keeping up the
