Hi David,
We have been on a bicycle tour in Viet Nam for awhile and haven't been able to connect much and keep up with what is going on with communication for GRC. People whose opinions and expertise I trust have recommended Rise-up. I, therefore, also vote for Rise-up. Please do keep it as an email list.
Best,
Betty McArdle

Subject: [grc] GRC List News
Hi Folks!
Here's news from PEAK Internet, the company that has been hosting the GRC mailing list for at least ten years.
PEAK is ending all their mailing lists on July 1st, 2024.
We're being evicted! The GRC will need to find a new home for group communication. There's no need to panic! No historical data will be lost, we have some time to find a new home.
Folks have wished for a new means of communication off and on over the years, here's our chance to start fresh!
Where should we move this discussion forum? Should we move to a web-based forum? A different email list? Discord? Telegram? Slack?
Something else?
Here's your chance to weigh in and help decide the future of group communication related to all thing grassroots radio.
I'm sure there will be many questions and concerns. The good news is that we have some time to make this decision. Not so good news is that we don't have /that/ much time.
As always, please keep your suggestions and comm ents on point and cordial; this is an opportunity, and everyone currently subscribed can suggest a new home.
What do you think?
~David Klann
