[grc] Presentation for the GRC Conference maybe ??

Sharon,

The InfoAge volunteers are what make everything happen!  They do
physical work and networking for fundraising.

Best example:  The day we received the CP, the local sports organization
dropped off underwriting funding to cover the costs of putting local
sports on local radio ( note our obsession with local ! )  One of our
youth volunteers had told their parents, who in turn sold the idea to
the parents group.

Second example:  One of the volunteers works for a major VoIP equipment
provider in NJ.  They partnered with our Makerspace to adapt hardware in
order to use a donated broadcast ISDN phone system with our VoIP phone
service.  The configuration is now a turn-key package for other radio
station who were facing the end of ISDN service for radio.

Third example (and this is on the finance side) - Once of our volunteers
went through the entire donor database and added employers, and if they
do matching grants or matching labor hours.

Will be on the next Meet-up!

Cheers!

Martin
