Sounds like a fascinating meeting, Sharon — hope I can make it! Organizing our GRC in 2010 was one of the most stimulating KMUD activities ever, and I’m super-interested in hearing from people who are willing to host (thank you in advance for contributing to this network that helps us all carry on).
I’ve also read some of the emails about possible ways to improve the way our Coalition organizes itself. It’s tricky but so worthwhile for a “loose coalition” that spends a GLORIOUSLY LOW amount of time working on the rules it operates by, to create simple, clear understandings that are easily accessed by all involved for reference when needed. I would appreciate a concise reminder about where we stand with all that, if anyone has the energy for it. Otherwise I’ll hope to find time to read more of the recent emails. I just read the Wikipedia page, and had thought there had been an ongoing website established…. ? See what I mean? Out of it!
Carry on, stalwarts of GRC and all stations! It’s so worth it.
