PSAs about the medical emergency facing Mumia (text at the bottom):

  * The first is about the National Day of Action this Fri., Apr. 10
    called by an ad hoc national coalition. It's voiced by Dr. Cornel

**PSA: Urgent Phone Campaign to Stop the Medical Execution of Mumia 
Abu-Jamal**

This is Lynne Stewart. The life of brilliant journalist, intellectual, and
political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal is in great danger. On March 30, after
months of medical neglect, Mumia went into diabetic shock and was
hospitalized with life-threatening high blood sugar. Just two days 
later, he was
transferred back to the same prison that failed to diagnose or treat 
him. His
diet is dangerous and his health is deteriorating. Only massive pressure 
will
stop his execution through malpractice. Call Pennsylvania Corrections

treatment
