We at Two harbors Community Radio in northern Minnesota welcome Todd's
idea and Ursula's follow-up. We would greatly appreciate a mini-GRC in
the Upper Midwest,if possible. We would love an opportunity that's
within reasonable driving distance, which for us might include the Twin
Cities, somewhere in Wisconsin, or northern Iowa or Illinois..
Our LPFM start-up has some excellent technical volunteers, but like most
of us station founders, they have little direct experience with the
automation, emergency alert, and streaming systems that are needed in
radio these days, in addition to conventional studio and transmitter
set-up.
We'd also welcome more help with content creation and programming
implementation.
We would likely send several attendees depending on where and when the
event is held.
By late spring early summer we will likely be scrambling to get on-air,
so we hope that something happens sooner than later.

Thanks to the WDRT folks for this initiative.
