We have a lovely subsidized storefront studio space in downtown Takoma Park - empty at this moment :) We have free antenna/transmitter space high up and very close to the studio. Funding going well. Team strong. Optimism high. That is our update.

We are entering a partnership with our local community newspaper - which can no longer afford the paper version - so is online. We envision them as our “news department.” They have been around a long time, and there’s plenty of trust and a mutual mission. Does anyone have advice to make it work better - and advice on how to share a website with an equal partner info organization, and each maintain our own too.
We have a partnership. We have their movie reviewer on regularly, and
one of our staff was contributing a monthly column to their printed paper:

I'd love it if the sports writer or someone wanted to do a regular
show. We also had the newspaper running one of our shows on their
website- they were moving more into audio and video content and we
started meetings about sharing content. It kind of fizzled- decided
as long as they credit us and link to our site we are fine. But there
is room for content sharing- it makes sense.

One area I'm interested in is nonprofit newspapers- the organizational
structure may be closer to ours.

Here are a few I'm aware of that have radio licenses or trying to get
one, you could reach out to-
Williamsport Guardian, Williamsport, PA (al davis told me about this one)
West Sacramento News Ledger, CA (LPFM CP is actually owned by another
group as sponsor)
San Francisco Public Press, CA (currently in MX group for LPFM CP)

good luck!
