in answer to Al and Rev. Joan.

In the past, GRC conferences were hosted by whatever organization gallantly volunteered to host it. In all of the years of GRCs there has only been one time when two organizations wanted to do it the same summer. They resolved it between themselves, and one decided to wait until the next year. In most things GRC, there is no official process, we are just a loose coalition of people way into grassroots community radio.

Rev. Joan, looking back at your January email, I see that what you had replied to was an email expressing an idea for having mini-GRC(s) that would be specifically geared toward skill building for people working on getting an LPFM on the air.

Right now, I think we have just had an offer to host the full-on Grassroots Radio Conference 2015, from Musa at WCAA-LP Albany, NY. As I said earlier, I am excited that there is a chance of an East Coast GRC again after so many years.

I don't remember any actual offers. A few have hinted or
considered it, but no firm offers.

As to dates, I prefer to avoid June, July, and August. Too much
going on at home.
