[grc] Quick word to you... KPFT, NFCB and onward!

Hello GRCers!

KPFT and its folks have been to GRCs over time and I'm honored to have 
had been in touch with so many of you during my 11 years at the little 
station in Houston. I wanted to drop a quick line with news.

I'm departing KPFT and am headed to the National Federation of Community 
Broadcasters, starting Aug. 15. Sally Kane, our fantastic board and 
squad of go-getters will be looking to build new efforts to support 
community radio's diverse needs and infrastructure. Starting then, you 
can reach me at membership at nfcb.org and ernestomedia at gmail.com before 
then. As Membership Program Director, I want to hear what you need and 
how we can get your station or producers involved, if they're not 
already members. Jot some thoughts and toss me a line, or let's arrange 
a call. I want to win you over to join NFCB, and am eager to learn how 
to do it.

Thank you for all you do. It takes commitment and courage, which 
community radio absolutely has in abundance.
