[grc] FYI - SAVE THE DATES

Flights are refundable on most airlines until 24 hours after purchase. We are still in the window – so perhaps a poll of the list to see if anyone is ill-affected might make sense as quick action can probably ameliorate any such problem.

Also, Southwest is one of the most frequent flyers into Albany, and it always allows full credit for cancelled flight that can be used on another date within a year.

Amtrak services (Chicago, NY, Montreal, Boston) are similarly usable on another day.

Just a thought….

Save the date messages have already gone out.
Just be glad, I had not reserved and paid for any hotel rooms yet.
Consider those who may have already booked flights.

I'm fine with delaying a week. Anyone else know of a reason why the GRC

should not be October 6-9, 2017?

Need to make a final decision soon on the date(s).

Just wondering if you knew the GRC is scheduled on Your Kippur. Might make

it hard for Jews to attend. An alternate weekend after might work better and

help attendance.

Oops .....

I don't know how we overlooked that. Thanks for the info, soon enough that

we can do something about it.

We are considering changing the date to one week later .. Oct 6-9 .

Quick check .. Columbus Day .. that may be a plus.

What do you think of this?
