Betty and Becky were in perpetual motion, as far as I could see and so were
many others, some whom I know (like Tom and Donna) and then many I saw but
did not have time to know by name and some I never saw but knew they were
there because of the way food and things like that showed up .

Thank you for GRC 2018. I want to express appreciation for all the very
hard work, dedication, and good will given to nurture our community radio
family. As always, the conference was beautiful - no, *gorgeous*.

And thank you to every person whose conversation and input was so
nourishing and informative. And also those of you I know and love but never
got around to speaking with you. It was good just to see you.

Sunday night, after the conference, I got together with an old friend from
my distant past. After having pizza and conversation, while walking to my
car, I ran into some conference folks skulking around the front of a bar.
You know what? It was such a great feeling of reassurance and relief to
join them and know these people are my present. These folks. These are the
ones I want to talk to and be with.
