They're baack.. Yes they are, your very own D.C. Rep.s are home for Summer
Recess
  They are likely hosting Cook-outs and possibly Town Hall meetings, making
personal appearances near by
   * GO SEE THEM. TALK TO THEM*, Let them know you want your community
radio to flourish & continue.
   That person may look at you quizzically and ask why you might think it
would
not? Or they might not and wander on clueless, shaking more hands ,
pondering to themselves what they are missing??.. or they might not

*                THIS is your chance LPFM & Community Radio*
*Stations, get your story out; encourage your producers to give these
issues air time, call out your rep to respond, generate a ruckus> get
attention. Invite them to your broadcast! Notify the local media.*

  It is likely they are unaware; you tell them FCC Proceedings are going to
take away your listeners collective rights to complain about translator
interference!
 Tell them there is unfair disparity between LPFM stations & Silent
Translators
which make your station the underdog in a fight to protect it's broadcast
area,
*The people, the constituency who are listening will LOSE to impersonal,
non local, corporate radio programming!!*
   Alert them to the FCC Proceeding> Docket 18-119! Rule making for
Translator interference. (they should be able to access this docket
easily). The 1 Building = ! Complaint proposal effectively* silences the
99% *giving 1 vote only to a multi story hi rise, college dormitories and
housing complexes.. The threshold for complaints is also in flux yet will
ALWAYS BE MORE THAN 1 so community radio will LOSE!!! residence, students,
hi rise dwellers,* the 99% will be silenced and dismissed.  *
