Hi all,

Upon seeing numerous messages about unsubscribing come in from people who
don't want to clog up their inboxes, I feel it's time to point out that
there are ways indicated in every email or digest you receive for all
individuals to *manage our own list subscriptions*.

For me, right at the top under the address there's *a link to unsubscribe
from the list.* It looks like what you see below. (I use gmail in Chrome.)
Scroll your mouse over it and click to go to subscription options.

to grc Unsubscribe

Also, the header of each message gives you links for submissions,
subscription options, and to directly contact the list manager:

*To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit*
        http://maillist.peak.org/mailman/listinfo/grc

or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to
        grc-request at maillist.peak.org

Please follow these links to unsubscribe or manage your subscriptions. If
you're getting each message as it's sent you may wish to change to the *Digest
*option. That makes a HUGE difference as you will receive far fewer
messages and can easily discern if a thread is of interest to you. There is
no option to only subscribe to certain messages from the list, so if you
don't find some of the discussions useful then just look at the subject
line of emails or topic list in the digest and delete the ones you're not
interested in. I urge folks to consider doing this rather than
unsubscribing altogether because of numerous posts on one topic.

Thanks,
Sybil A.
