[grc] KLEK-LP volunteer wins “Gospel Radio Personality of the Year” beating out DJs from iHeart and Cumulus

One of the things I always tell the KLEK volunteers and the community as a
whole is “never despise small beginnings”. Just because our station is an
LPFM does not mean you can’t make a big impact.

Tonight my Gospel DJ “Brother Cobbs” (who has been with us since we
launched 1/1/15 won “Radio Personality of the Year” from the Showtime
Entertainment Gospel Music Awards in Memphis, TN.

He beat out personalities from several other terrestrial and internet radio
stations including stations owned by iHeart and Cumulus.
