[grc] What to do when Mac kills Audacity?

Friends:

Open source is a beautiful concept, just so long as the community has the chops and energy to update versions in a timely fashion. 

 If you don’t need the very latest OS (e.g. Catalina with it’s new security requirements) then it’s not a problem…just hang back and wait for someone to do the update, or hunt for workarounds as Doug suggested.  Problem solved.  

Personally, not being a coder, I like to support small independent developers who do all the work and actually return my emails when I find a bug or have a feature suggestion. IMHO, the best day-to-day editor/batch processor is Twisted Wave (www.twistedwave.com <http://www.twistedwave.com/>).  It’s always updated, very radio-compatible and always rocks.
