[grc] getting audio from mp4 files

On Apples you can use Quicktime 7 to "export" the audio from an mp4 to an aif audio file. It is available on Quicktime 8 as well, but 7 works easier.
If you use VLC open-source video player (free, best video player) you can extract the audio from most any video file- open the app, under "file" choose "convert/stream" and you have lots of choices of audio files (mp3, flac, and PCM.)
