Dear Friends,

Tonight, March 13 at 12:40 AM marks the tragic one year anniversary of 
Breonna Taylor's murder by Louisville Metro Police.  To mark this solemn 
occasion, WXOX Louisville will be replaying our Broadcast for Breonna 
and thought you might be interested in participating again as well.

We have created an EVERGREEN version of the tribute piece which includes 
an introduction from Breonna's aunt Bianca Austin, the song "Everything" 
by Mary J. Blige -- which was one of Breonna's favorites at the time of 
her passing, sounds of the Louisville protests, as well as a reading of 
names of Black women lost to police brutality.

The piece lasts 9:13 seconds.  Since it is an evergreen, you can play it 
whenever you want.

WXOX Louisville will interrupt our regular programing tonight at 12:40 
AM (eastern) to play Kenneth Walker's 911 call in realtime from one year 
ago.  It will be followed by the Broadcast for Breonna program. We will 
repeat this process tomorrow during the noon hour in coordination with 
an in-person memorial event coordinated by Breonna's Family and local 
activists at Injustice Park in downtown Louisville.

Broadcast for Breonna - Evergreen Edition has been posted to the WXOX 
page in Pacifica's Audioport.  You can find it under "specials" or by 
searching "Breonna".  We have also posted Kenneth Walker's 911 Call in 
the "Actuality" section of Audioport. If you are not a Pacifica 
Affiliate and would like us to send you the files, we would be happy to 
do so.

As there have still be no arrests in the murder of Breonna Taylor and 
the brutality of the Louisville Metro Police continues to escalate, we 
hope you will join us once again as we show our solidarity with 
Breonna's family and the people of color around the world who are 
fighting for justice, standing up for equality.
