[grc] FCC DTV applications intake is open???

Dear colleagues,

First of, thank you for supporting the community radio sector. It is a
great pleasure and honor to be a part of the community radio meetings.
Every meeting provides so much valuable information! Thank you for doing
this.

As I mentioned, U Multicultural <http://www.u-channel.ca> is a Canadian TV
and Radio community broadcaster, and recently we launched the community
radio station in Florida. We are currently working on the launching and may
need support from the experienced engineer, who could guide us through the
process of equipment purchasing and installation. As a community station,
we currently don't have much funds to afford expensive engineer, so if you
would recommend us more affordable options, it would be greatly
appreciated.

I also wanted to ask if you are aware of the community radio/media funds,
which may help us to start airing.

GRC conference in New Orleans is a tremendous opportunity. Again, I'm
currently looking for funding to cover travel expenses. If you are aware of
funding programs, that would help to cover travel expenses, please let me
know.

Finally, as a community multimedia which has plans to launch the community
TV station in FL, we tried to contact FCC in this matter. It looks like
they don't have information on the application process or call
announcement. However, while checking our FCC licensing page, I noticed
some options in the menu, which allow us to submit the application for the
DTV construction permit. The screenshot is attached. Again, we tried to
contact the FCC to clarify if there is an opportunity to apply on DTV and
they don't have this information.

Colleagues, I just wanted to ask you if you know about the DTV construction
permit applications call or can clarify why we can see those applications
available in the dropdown menu on FCC website if the official announcement
hasn't been made by FCC? I understand that my question may be irrelevant,
as we are all members of the community radio group, however, still hoping
to get some clarify here.
