I have seen cases, including here, where a mass subscription by the
administrator got people upset, but that is not the situation here.
The situation here is that everyone wants it to continue as it has
been, changing as little as possible. This says to just do it the easy
way and mass transfer the old to the new, keeping digest subscribers as
digest, and non-digest as non-digest.
I have another question ... what about the archive? The list has
a full archive, going many years back. This archive could be lost in
the move unless somebody does something to preserve it. We need to
make sure the archive is preserved.
