This is terrible, because it is the best signal in Puget Sound, Michael pushed it right up our butt (KSVR) thinking it would be put to good use.  So now on the fringe of KSVR signal will be sound of money sucking and also brainwashing.
The selling price is less than half of what Dennis had been pitching around. Maybe if others had known it would go for half of what Public Capital paid for the thing (before upgrades), it would have found a buyer with better plans for content.
It is a sad day for Puget Sound, no matter how many LPFMs are crammed in around Seattle.

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, PUBLIC RADIO CAPITAL's PRC TACOMA -- I LLC is selling noncommercial News-Talk KXOT/TACOMA-SEATTLE to BIBLE BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. for $2.4 million. The station, once a simulcast of FRIENDS OF KEXP noncommercial Alternative KEXP/SEATTLE and then programmed by the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON's noncommercial News-Talk KUOW/SEATTLE, has been simulcasting the state public affairs cable TV network TVW's audio. GREG GUY of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as exclusive broker for the deal.

this..............................................  Except to say that this is a good signal that covers 2.5 million, for which we engineered an upgrade a couple of years ago, with a mutual/simultaneous upgrade to community station KBCS.  Public Radio Capital is now known as Public Media Co.
