*Call to Participation: Beijing+20: What has changed for women since
1995?**Be a part of an international audio series*

Montreal, January 20, 2015

Dear members,

Twenty years after the world gathered in Beijing, China, for the Fourth
World Conference on Women <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFmP94NQ4jc>,
the World Association of Community Broadcasters
<http://www.amarc.org/>(AMARC) is partnering with UN Women
<http://www.unwomen.org/en>to facilitate the production of *20 audio
pieces* by *producers *and*community radio journalists* in an effort to
engage discussions, increase awareness and improve public education on
*gender equality, human rights *and *human dignity*.

The audio pieces will be featured on a dedicated page on AMARC?s website
<http://www2.amarc.org/?q=node/2059>and on UN Women?s website from
January to July 2015. They will also benefit from a visibility campaign
in the network of partners, members and on social media. The
participating producers will receive a financial compensation and an
agreement stating the terms of participation in this international
campaign will be signed with the International secretariat of AMARC.

*_What is AMARC looking for?_*

?Documentary, reportage, interview, roundtable, storytelling, etc. The
production must be related to women?s issues and show what has changed
(or not) in your community since the 1995 Beijing Platform for Action
<http://www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/beijing/platform/>was approved. **

?The audio production must be 5-10 minutes and ready for on-air
distribution.**

?Productions in local languages are welcomed. A short summary (200
words) in English, French or Spanish must be provided.
